AC/DC recently re-emerged from a lengthy social media hiatus to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their iconic record Highway to Hell. They've shared clips of live performances in support of the album, which was lead singer Bon Scott's final record and tour with AC/DC before his tragic death in 1980.
The band also shared the original cover art for Highway to Hell. The cover was actually the one that was used for the Australian release of the album, but was rejected by Atlantic Records for the US release.
The art is not too different than the cover for the US release, except the band members all appear to be engulfed in flames. Seems tame by today's standards but perhaps Angus wearing devil's horns was already close to crossing the line of what was considered decent at the time.
