It's been incredible to see the development at training camp of second-year quarterback Sam Howell. He impressed so many of us last season with his start against Dallas. Now, he's been named the Commanders' #1 quarterback heading into the 2023 season.
I'm really excited to see what he does tomorrow night in the first preseason game against Cleveland.
While I was out at training camp earlier this week, Sam dropped by the BIG 100 booth for a chat. Check out the interview above where we talk about the upcoming season, what a 'day in the life' looks like at training camp, and how he handles pressure.
I also learned a lot about what Sam does off the football field with his answers to the questions I asked during Lisa's 30-second Drill.
